W tym miejscu ponad 100 lat temu kobiety, a właściwie jedna, wymyśliła sposób na upiększenie wiejskiej chaty. Inne kobiety podchwyciły pomysł i tak dziś możemy zobaczyć malowane chaty w Zalipiu. Trzymam kciuki żeby udało się przenieść stare chaty w jedno miejsce i powiększyć ekspozycję i stworzyć prawdziwy skansen.

There is a village called Zalipie, where over 100 years ago, one woman started decorating her cottage with painted flowers. Other women from the village liked the idea so much that we can still see those beautiful flowers not only on old cottages but also on walls of modern houses. Hopefully the place will develop and create real open air museum. We cross our fingers!
